I LOVE the Princess Bride. Not that I've ever kept count, but I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen it. It is my all time favorite movie, and it always cheers me up. I completely agree with the difficulty to describe it. Even my dad, who doesn't watch movies often has been known to say, "Just watch it, rewind it and watch it again."

Okay, let me think.
I'm with Scott on The Big Lebowski, it never gets old and a great way to find out whether or not someone I am talking to has true "friend potential" is to quote a couple of lines and see if they can quote back.
Fight Club is another of my favorites. It has some epic lines and the acting is superb. I can relate to the movie on several different levels (some more frightening than others).
I'm probably going to catch hell from some of my male friends for this one but I don't care: Terms of Endearment. Jack Nicholson is fantastic in this movie and I try and use the line "I'd rather stick needles in my eyes." as much as possible. Also, I like Shirley Maclaine. That's right. She is crazy, and I am crazy...why wouldn't I like her?
Others include: Goodfellas, The Usual Suspects, The Breakfast Club, Stranger Than Fiction, and Silence of the Lambs.

Agree with all three though I admit O Brother had to grow on me a little. I'd have to throw in Raising Arizona.

There are three movies that I've watched at least a dozen times each, and I would be happy to watch them a dozen times more:

The Outlaw Josey Wales (Great characters, archetypal themes, and Civil War era revolvers. What more could you ask for from a revenge Western?)

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (The music and dialogue do it for me every time.)

The Big Lebowski (The quintessential Coen brothers film, in my opinion.)
