The pencils are sharpened. The lighting has been adjusted and readjusted . Perhaps I should install a rheostat to better the lighting.. NOW..Two characters are screaming at me to finish their lives . Fear not Rhonda. I’ll get you out of that trailer.Fear not Mercy, I will release you from this wordly mess soon. As soon as I sharpen some more pencils and adjust the lighting.

One of the things I love about the Kindle is you can look up any word on the page with the built-in dictionary. I usually am too lazy to grab a dictionary with a normal book and just get the meaning from context. The Kindle is helping me get better at looking them up.

My New Year’s resolution is to look up every unfamiliar word I run across while reading. It sounds silly, but I’ve noticed recently how often I “guess” the meaning of a word, assuming I know it from the context, only to find after I look it up that I didn’t understand it.

I also like Tell People. It’s a lot harder to shrug it off or string it out when other people know. I know a few people who have put tough ones on their blogs to help get encouragement and support.
